The Dragon Queen
A very large, very smug dragon asleep on a mountain of gold. She sleeps through a lot. She does not sleep through you. When she wakes, she hunts down the loudest thief and eats them.

A co-op dungeon heist from Sour Apple Games
Sneak in with your friends. Stack the loot. Just don't be the loudest.
The trailer is being stitched together from footage of thieves getting eaten. Wishlist and Steam will tell you when it lands.
A fresh dungeon every heist. Loot piled to the ceiling. A crew that cannot stop knocking things over.
Coins, gems, goblets, crowns, whole chests. Pile it all on your back in one glorious, wobbling tower. The taller the stack, the slower and louder you get.
Every clink, crash and footstep carries through the halls. Walls muffle it, open doorways leak it, and the hoard's owner is listening.
Drop your haul at the getaway cart and it's safe for good. Then comes the real question: do you dare sneak back in for more?
Every heist takes place in a freshly generated dungeon: new halls, new hiding spots, new places to drop a crown on the floor.
Hang out in the hideout, pick a contract and ready up. 2 to 6 players online, best with a crew of 4. Short on friends? Bots fill the gaps.
One chibi thief, endless looks. Mix outfits, hair, hats, ears and horns until you're unmistakable. Look great while you get eaten.
Friendly chaos, never PvP. Shove a teammate and their stack clatters everywhere. The noise gets blamed on them. You did nothing wrong. Probably.
A run is a string of heists, and the quota climbs with every one. Each heist goes roughly like this, give or take a few screaming friends.
Meet up with the crew, pick a contract and ready up. Last chance to look good.
Slip into a freshly generated dungeon. The hoard is somewhere inside, and so is its owner.
Load treasure onto your back. The big stuff is worth more, but every piece makes you slower and louder.
Noise travels through the halls, muffled by walls and leaking through doorways. Your friends will not be helping with this part.
Drop your loot at the cart. Banked loot is safe, no matter what happens next.
Greedy? Good. The quota is climbing, so you probably need another trip.
Make enough noise and the hoard's owner wakes up and hunts the loudest thief. Run.
Bank enough loot to hit the Thieves' Guild quota and you move on to the next heist. Miss it and the Guild cuts you loose. Run over.
The hoard has company. None of it is friendly, and most of it makes noise.
They patrol the halls with lanterns. Get caught in the light and you get bonked, and everything on your back hits the floor.
That chest looks like loot. It is not loot. Mimics chomp the top of your stack and keep it.
Startle one and it screams loud enough to wake everything in the dungeon. Yes, everything.
Hidden traps wait in the halls. Watch your step, which is tricky when a tower of loot is blocking the view.
Every hoard has an owner, and every owner has their own dungeon.

Each new hoarder brings their own dungeon to rob. These are on the drawing board, with no dates yet.
Everyone plays the same chibi thief, so these four aren't classes. They're the starter looks, the faces on the wanted posters, and zero impulse control between them.
Teal hood
Has never paid for anything in her life. Moves quiet, grabs fast, and swears the chest was already open.
Violet witch hat
Read one book about magic. Now uses it to explain why she can definitely carry six goblets at once.
Elf ears · forest green
Can hear a guard's footsteps three rooms away. Ignores this completely whenever a crown is involved.
Silver armor
Red ponytail, big heart, bigger loot stack, and she clanks like a cutlery drawer falling down the stairs. Not ideal for sneaking.
Start from the crew or start from scratch. Mix outfits, hair, hats, ears and horns, then take your creation somewhere very dangerous and make bad decisions in it.
Early concept art from the first prototype, when the whole heist was one dragon lair. The game now takes place in generated dungeons, but the look carries over: low-poly 3D, crisp pixels, toon lighting, warm torchlight and a truly irresponsible amount of glowing gold.
Playtest invites, the trailer, and the release date the moment there is one. We only email when there's news. No spam, no selling your address, no dragon facts. Okay, maybe one dragon fact.
When it's ready. Wishlist Hoard Thieves on Steam to hear first: Steam will let you know the moment it launches.
We're aiming for under $10. The exact price will be announced before launch, and wishlisting is free in the meantime.
2 to 6 players online through Steam. It's tuned for a crew of 4, which is where the chaos is just right.
Yes. Head out on your own and bot crewmates fill the empty spots on the crew. It's best with friends, though.
No. Hoard Thieves is co-op, never PvP. The worst your friends can do is shove you, knock over your loot and blame you for the noise.
PC on Steam. We're aiming for Steam Deck support too.
No. It's cartoon slapstick with chibi characters. Thieves get bonked, mimics chomp loot and the occasional thief gets eaten, all played for laughs, not scares or gore.
She's the hoarder at launch. More are planned, each with their own dungeon: the Lich King, the Goblin King, the Sea Witch and the Vampire Countess. No dates yet.
Nothing to announce yet. Sign up for the newsletter and you will hear about playtests first.
Hoard Thieves is a cute, chaotic online co-op heist game for PC. A crew of 2 to 6 chibi thieves sneaks through a generated dungeon, stacks loot on their backs and banks it at the getaway cart, dodging goblin guards, mimic chests, shriek bats and traps. Every noise travels through the halls, and making too much wakes the hoard's owner, who hunts the loudest thief. Hit the rising quota across a run of heists, or the Thieves' Guild cuts the crew loose. Co-op, never PvP.
The Dragon Queen is the hoarder at launch, with more hoarders and dungeons planned.
